HOLD UP! A plastic toothpaste tube? We know, it's not ideal but what is pretty ideal are the ingredients to this toothpaste. Stick around and we'll explain why we're stocking Dimples. Dimples does not foam as much as regular toothpaste as they do not use any harsh chemicals or SLS. A little goes a long way too, we'd recommend using half the normal amount.

Fluoride vs mineral vs (drumroll) Hydroxyapatite:

• The aim of any of these ingredients is to remineralise your saliva which helps protect your teeth, like a reinforcement. However, fluoride comes with a set of nasty side effects like messing with your brain and fertility. (read our blog here for more info)
• Hydroxyapatite is a form of calcium which actually occurs naturally in our teeth, it inhibits decay and stimulates bone growth. It's a super ingredient we should all be switching to for our oral health.
• A lot of the non-fluoride alternatives/mineral toothpastes do not contain any remineralising ingredients, meaning they are not actively helping to prevent tooth decay.
